Must Be local candidate Please send me update Resume to [email protected] Job Title : SSRS Developer Location: Minneapolis, MN Duration: 4 month contract Maintain knowledge of client/server/web development and architectural principles and approaches. Utilize and conform to design standards and methodologies. Develop and maintain overall knowledge of business applications and all 3rd party components. Provide IT and Project Management with the status of the reporting environment, report development and potential issues. Support existing software and primary users. Design and build software as directed using appropriate tools (e.g.Visual Studio 2005) Develop and utilize test plans and tools to validate quality of deployment deliverables. Conduct debugging and performance analysis of software to assure quality. Develop assembly, conversion/installation, and system components & documentation for turnover to quality control. Assist in resolution of issues and defects found in quality control. Support basic user operation of proprietary software and reporting environment. Participate in departmental and general staff meetings. Keep confidential all applicant, client, and company proprietary information. Other duties as assigned. Requirements College degree, technical school degree, preferably in Computer Science or equivalent work experience in the software industry. DBMS knowledge of SQL Server 2005 features and associated middleware. Minimum 3 years experience in SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services). Experience with data analysis. Good troubleshooting and debugging skills. Good understanding of performance and tuning methodologies. Knowledge of software méthodologies (ex. Agile, RUP) and standards compliance Self-motivated; independent worker, team player. Preferences Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture and Web Services. Interested in learning new technologies; open to new processes and operational methods. Ability to effectively share knowledge and ideas with others in non-technical manner. Knowledge of system software such as security and client/network configuration.
