Skills: oracle, ebs, e-business suite, applications, e business suite, functional, r12, general ledger, financials, time and labor Requiring a candidate consultant to have experience and advanced skills in: Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 Experience working on one or more Oracle EBS implementations preferably for large public sector organizations. Experience with Oracle's AIM methodology and best practices to configure and implement Oracle EBS resulting in improved business processes and efficiencies. Knowledge and understanding of public sector/government accounting practices. Experience designing cutover plans that include: Strategies to handle business function continuity even while systems may be locked for final conversions Fall back plans Cutover plans for side systems needing to convert to new chart of accounts and integration to handle the new system at Go Live even while they continue fiscal year close out activities after cutover Troubleshooting and resolution of open issues that may be related to configuration, data conversions, or issues discovered in testing. Advanced skills with analysis and design including working with stakeholders to understand business requirements, system integration and business process redesign. Knowledge and experience with multiple types of testing: unit,regression,integration,performance testing and cutover preparation testing. Strong communication skills,including the ability to present concise and articulate analysis in both written and spoken form and experience documenting business processes and writing systems documentation. Within the Oracle EBS area of expertise,the selected consultant will perform a variety of tasks to support the Finance Project including: Lead a variety of tasks focused on stabilizing the system prior to final testing. This includes: Troubleshooting open issues found in testing or data conversions and work to resolve the issues and/or develop solid work-around solutions for those not able to be fixed.
