Location: *Charlotte NC* Duration: 6 Months Skills: We are looking for candidates who have a background with C#, SQL Server 2008 and Javascript *is a plus*. Syed used to be a VB.net developer and moved into C# and most of his staff started in VB.net so someone with a Java background would be beneficial. Java would also be better because then they would have a better understanding of Javascript. *Again, Javascript is a “plus”, not a “must”, but we have lost a few other directs because we haven’t found candidates with the “nice to haves”.* Since this is a loan project, loan experience is definitely a good thing. The interview will be over the phone or an immediate F2F. In the F2F, they make them develop an application. He knows that senior people look at this as being an insult but he doesn’t want to waste his time with interviewing people who look great on paper and have text book knowledge but no conceptual knowledge. He will give them a computer and a help file and will let them reference one text book but that is it. Then, he lets them know what he needs and it’s a short process. So, local candidates or ones that are willing to get here on their own is preferable but he is willing to look at people out of town and perform a phone interview first.
