Location: Hartford ,CT Duration: 6 Month*s * Please let me know if you have any suitable consultant Skills: · Minimum of 6 years in the Data Warehouse/Data Mart/Database Design & Development · 5 Years database experience – Oracle 10g or higher (Preferred), MS SQL Server · Experience in data modeling and Business Objects experience (Operational, Data Warehouse, and Data Mart Design) with the ability to handle large data sets. · Must demonstrate the ability to management of large, complex data warehousing environments using Oracle (preferred) or MS SQL Server · Effectively communicate both written and orally in both business and technical terms tailoring message based on the audience/level within the organization. · Ensure project activities are results oriented, performance driven and conform to client best practices and process. Employ analytical, conceptual and creative thinking skills to improve the overall business experience using the tools developed. · Candidate must have an understanding of Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing principles and architectures including the concepts (Understanding of Kimball methodologies), designs and usage of data warehouses and data marts. · Engage with business champions to ensure BI/DW activities addresses their business requirements to ensure maximum value. · Candidate must have experience in defining / interpreting business strategies then translating them into technical strategies to meet Senior Management requirements.
