*Must have Health Insurance or Health Care or Pharma or hospital industry
experience. Health Insurance is # 1.***
The Accumulator Reporting Specialist will create parameter-driven reporting
templates dealing with Insurance Co-Pay and Out-of-Pocket Accumulations.
The technology stack is Microsoft's Business Intelligence toolset:
SQL*Server, SSIS ETL, and SSRS reportage services. OLAP services may or may
not be needed - at the discretion of this role.
The underlying data mart is dimensional in structure, and this specialist's
feedback and suggestions must further refine both the underlying data mart
and the MS semantic layer - to ensure that future reports are easy to
create. Business definitions, JOIN logic, and aggregation rules for fully /
semi-/ non-additive measures should be defined within the toolset too,
offloading this work from future report builders, and ensuring that reports
and queries return valid totals.
In addition to report design and development, there are two important
non-technical aspects of this assignment: (a) transferring knowledge to
client's internal business staff - empowering them to self-service future
reports, and (b) acting as a liaison between the client department's
internal staff of data specialists and the non-technical / insurance-savvy
business consumers of accumulator reporting and analysis services.
*Thank you,*
