Duration: 3+ Month Skills: Strong SQL query skills using MS SQL syntax. Experience creating and modifying CRUD statements, views and stored procedures. Ability to analyze and compare different sets of data and draw conclusions about missing and inconsistent data. We need to compare records between a legacy system and several in use systems to determine what data goes where and how. Experience with creating and maintaining basic ETL packages with SSIS from a variety of sources: ODBC, SQL Server, Excel, flat files, etc. Experience writing reports using Reporting Services (SSRS). Ability to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment. We’re definitely not a waterfall shop. We use iterative development but no formal methodology. The closest analog would be scrum.
