Responsibilities Collaborates with Sourcing professionals and/or Senior Stakeholders to identify requirements for recurrent analytics Designs data schemas and processes to automate and deploy reports across the Sourcing population, globally Customizes multi-level, drill-down analytics across all functions (executive, sourcing, operations) using Business Intelligence applications Provides complex, cross-system data analyses on historical trends, measures performance across various indicators Develops sophisticated SQL queries, triggers and stored procedures Understands full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles and applies it in day-to-day practices Interprets data compilations to ensure they adequately support the Requestor's business objectives Oversees outsourced Reporting operation including managing the Supplier relationship, monitoring service levels and managing conflicts Skills Required: Experience / Skills Strong analytical and problem solving skills Hands-on experience with SQL query and stored procedure development Experience building and maintaining an end user query and reporting environment Experience with the design, development and support of business intelligence solutions(i.e. Qlikview) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to find creative and innovative ways to solve issues Advanced use of MS Excel (advanced formulas, Pivot tables, etc) Advanced use of MS Access (Queries, Forms, Report creation) Experience with HR systems and reporting tools (i.e. PeopleSoft) is preferable, though not required Procurement background desirable Proven ability in developing applications using Visual Basic, VBA, and scripting languages Education Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Quantitative Analysis or Engineering is preferable though not required.
