The project will be located in several locations across the US
Client is seeking individuals with a desire to join a growing supply chain
management practice. We are looking for Senior Consultants and Architects
with prior experience implementing Sterling Commerce Supply Chain
Management Applications.

*Key Responsibilities *
- Mentor and guide other programmers as appropriate.
- Act as a programmer, integrator, and analyst for complex and
technically difficult assignments, collaborate with other developers
working on production issues.
- Create detailed technical specifications from which systems are
developed or implemented.
- Provide accurate estimates of effort of work and appropriately
identify risks, constraints and assumptions.
- Participate in application walkthroughs and in peer code reviews for
conformance to standards.
- Create and conduct unit and integration test plans, test conditions,
and expected test results.
- Prepare and deliver status reports.
- Create and maintain appropriate documentation.
- Consistently apply Information Technology software standards and help
to establish department specific standards.
- Build relationships with IT teams and numerous internal business
partners.

*Desired Attribtues*
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional
experience.
- Minimum of 4 years working in a professional IT environment.
- Over 3 years of experience with Java / J2EE, JSP, JDBC, RDMS (Oracle),
SQL, XML, HTML and JavaScript.
- Over 3 years of experience developing and maintaining an eCommerce
environment.
- Over 2 years of experience with Sterling Commerce (Yantra) Order
Management System and / or Warehouse Management System
- Extensive background and expertise in analysis and design of complex
business applications.
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact
professionally with all levels of the organization.
- Proven task and time management skills.
- Demonstrated initiative, follow-through and self-starter with quick
ramp-up time.
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle including
project initiation, requirements analysis, technical design, procedure
development, testing, deployment and maintenance/support.
- Experience working for a retail company with strong customer service
skills/orientation.
- Knowledge of Supply Chain business processes preferred.

- Prior experience implementing, configuring, and extending enterprise
supply chain packages
- Prior technical operational experience with Sterling Supply Chain
