Change Management Configuration Manager
Erie, PA
6+ months contract
Will hire off the phone
Requirements:
* MIS degree preferred, or 1-2 years experience working in computer
technology
* Must be able to work 2nd or 3rd shift, and weekends (flexible schedule)
* Software development experience preferred
* Working knowledge of XML/Scripting, SQL
Duties and tasks:
* Perform software code promotions and deployments to non-Production
environments
* Work with EIG Software Change Managers (Endevor/Harvest administration)
to get fully acclimated on projects in progress that will need Harvest
system support and builds. (Java and .Net based applications).
* Document and understand Harvest projects so that a comprehensive list of
servers, directories and scripts are included.
* Create automated statistics on the number builds/packages that are moved
by CM in each environment (TEST, STAGING, PROD) by querying the Harvest
Oracle tables.
* Create reports on projects, approvers groups and list of users for the
entire year, list of files that changed by project for a given time period..
* Learn the standards for Harvest and Endevor projects created at Erie.
* Work with Release Management and Software Change Managers to identify and
implement process improvements to help achieve department productivity
goals.
* Perform other tasks as time allows and needs arise.
