Supervises: Sales team members DESCRIPTION If you seek a rewarding sales opportunity in a technology-focused business, you may be the person to join our team. Infinite is looking for a driven Director of Sales and Marketing for the company headquarters in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This position is responsible for the execution of the sales/marketing strategy for consulting and software solutions for new and existing clients. The successful candidate will plan, direct, and coordinate pre- and post-sales activities with the goals of revenue growth, maximizing profits and increasing market share while exceeding client expectations. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Develop and execute sales/marketing strategies to meet corporate revenue objectives. • Develop and cultivate software and application development project opportunities with new and established clients. • Assess sales activities, costs, operations, and forecasts to determine sales and marketing progress toward stated goals and objectives. • Design and implement sales management and marketing processes and programs to leverage the effectiveness of the sales and marketing team. • Initiate and maintain professional relationships with customers throughout the sales cycle and ensure responsive customer service after the sale. • Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements. • Identify and develop strategic partnerships. • Present to all levels within client organizations including C and VP- level management. • Promote customer participation in marketing events. • Leverage existing client relationships for new business capture. JOB QUALIFICATIONS • Minimum 10 years of sales and/or marketing experience with a strong understanding of consulting and technology solutions selling. • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required, MBA preferred. • Successful track record of business development for application development services and/or software products highly preferred. • Minimum 3 years of experience managing sales personnel, 5 years preferred. • Experience developing and executing strategic and tactical sales and marketing plans required. • Experience selling consulting services using an onsite/offshore business model a plus. • Ability to identify and cultivate new business opportunities a must.
