*Position : QA Tester Location : Franklin,TN Duration : 6 Month contract * MUST: 5-7+years in quality assurance/Software Test Engineer with full life-cycle test Team Lead or Leadership experience Automated testing One of the following: Perl Scripting Ruby Scripting Python Scripting Selenium QTP Must be able to understand architectural concepts in .Net Must be able to write simple SQL queries and work in SQL Database Programming background (.Net preferred) IIS and web configuration and deployment experience Writing test plans, developing test cases and implementing test strategies Proficient in MS Excel Agile development methodology Unit Testing Self Starter, able to work in a face paced changing environment. Web based (we do not want embedded systems) PLUS: MVC Manual testing TFS (Team Foundation Server) working knowledge highly preferred. Working knowledge of IVR Systems D2D: They will be working heavily with the software developers in a fast paced environment, and they need to have the ability to work in a non-structured environment. The environment changes every 3 weeks. Their goal is to standardize the process of their payment solutions. They need to be skilled in translation analysis. Summary: Responsible for the creation, implementation and execution of test plans, test scripts and test cases for software project releases. Performs under minimal supervision significantly complex testing of software applications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develops and maintains master test plan for software project releases. Specifies and coordinates the creation and maintenance of relevant test environments and infrastructure. Uses script checks to verify a healthy test environment. Designs, develops and executes software test plans for assigned area or application(s). Develops, maintains and upgrades manual test scripts, utilities, simulators, data sets and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plans. Effectively communicates testing activities and findings in oral and written forms. Controls and manages daily test activities for assigned area or application(s). Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Provides internal quality assurance. Identifies risks and develops mitigation strategies. Evaluates the overall test process. Coordinates project planning efforts with other areas or cost centers affected by work unit projects. Coordinates fail-over testing when new or major changes are made to an infrastructure. Administers and controls test tools. Organizes and maintains the test script library for assigned area or application(s). May mentor or train other Test Analysts in processes, methods, tools and best practices.
