Duration: 3+ months

Tasks
· Assist in development, integration, administration, and evolution
of SRO decision support systems, and, in particular, the data warehouse,
Business Intelligent (BI) dashboard and scorecards.
· Collaborating with functional analysts and end users to resolve
design and/or product delivery issues;
· Writing specifications for decision support solutions as well as
for deployment strategies.
· Developing logical and physical data models based on business
requirements and mapping entities to existing data sources.
· Designing data edit and load programs for decision support
applications.
· Solving problems relating to applications program design and
program performance.
· Coordinating testing of data warehouse programming and deployment
strategies.
· Writing program and systems documentation.
· Develop standards reports and enterprise applications
· Researching solutions to system and application problems,
including investigation of other institutions.

C. Requisite Skills
· Experience working with database-related technologies, including
relational and dimensional database modeling.
· Experience in SQL Server Databases required.
· Additional experience on Oracle preferred.
· Higher Education experience a plus.
D General Requirements/Deliverables/Outcomes
· Direct working experience in an relational database environment,
specifically with Oracle and SQL Server and their development tools
toolsets.
· Experience working with web based OLAP reporting tools.
· Experience working with SQL and visual query tools.
· Experience in a Java development framework required.
· Experience in a .net environment a plus.
· Working knowledge of multiple relational database and ERP systems
(SQLServer/Access/Oracle/), and web-based data deployment methodologies
highly desirable.
· Experience with ETL (data extraction, transformation and load)
methods and technologies.
· Experience working in a higher education environment.
· Strong ability to understand the data and the relationship
between data.
· Experience in business intelligence dashboard and scorecards.
