The Business Analyst will design and document workflow and make appropriate recommendations that will positively impact operational effectiveness. The Business Analyst will lead a number of key maintenance and operational projects for the business unit and the company. The Business Analyst will be the functional expert on a specific application(s) that he/she will be the primary point of contact between the business unit and IT. Duties and Responsibilities: Reviews, analyzes and creates detailed documentation of business systems and user needs, including workflow, specification and procedures, and steps required to develop or modify the application/system. Responsible for ensuring all documentation reflects the current state of changes and outstanding issues so that business requirements reflect application features and functions Coordinates and reviews use cases and other technical documents with IT project staff to ensure all business requirements are accurately reflected and accounted for. Ensures that all tests are conducted and documented according the standards agreed upon by the business unit and IT and is responsible for overall success of testing before handing to UAT, including results verification and release sign-off. Ensure that all items follow change management process Knowledge of Facets and experience using the Facets Security Management Tool (SMT) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration, and 3+ years of relevant work experience with demonstrated requirements management, business analysis, and quality assurance experience. Additional years of qualifying work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. Must have background and experience with Business Analysis toolkit including an understanding of systems development lifecycles, problem solving and root cause analysis methods, Use cases, data and process modeling skills and document business process models. Outstanding verbal and written communications and presentation skills are required.
