Duration: 12 months
Location: Foster City, CA
In person interview required after a phone screen
· 7+ years of DB2 LUW DBA experience
· Experience in database administration working with a global team
· Proficiency with IBM DB2 (certification a plus)
· Experience in Linux, UNIX, Windows
· Experience with DB2 V8 & V9.5 and above
· Experience with DB2 upgrades from V8 to V9.x Hands-on experience
with new V9.7 features and implementation
· SQL Tuning (Dynamic and Static) using Explain
· Must have demonstrated ability to adapt technical solutions to
complex business situations and strategies
· Ability to investigate problems, analyze information, and reach
logical conclusions Must be able to work independently and with little
supervision
· Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
· Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, with good
people skills.
· Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle
· DB2 Database production/development support
