Mainframe QA Tester *Location:* Horsham, PA : *Interview:* Phone then face to face *Number of Positions :* 2 *Length:* 8 month contract with the option to extend * * We are looking for a QUALITY ASSURANCE TESTER with 4+ years experience to help create functional and regression test scripts. The candidate should have strong verbal and written communication skills, and be prepared to make an immediate impact within our QA team. In addition to developing test scripts, the candidate will need to interface with managers and directors throughout the organization to build awareness of testing value. Along with these responsibilities, the candidate will also have the following responsibilities: Test planning and execution: -Review and provide input on all project level documentation. -Assists in developing detailed testing estimates and timelines -Create test plans and test cases as they relate to testing project requirements to ensure the overall quality of software delivered. -Create requirement/test case relationship using Quality Center (traceability). -Test execution and defect identification -Log, track, and validate resolution of identified defects. -Ability to identify risks and escalate quality concerns to management Required Technical Skills: -Mercury Quality Center, PVCS -Strong background in Microsoft off tools- Excel capabilities including file downloads and use of Microsoft Project -Ability to work independently within a quickly changing environment with strict deadlines -Strong DB2 background including SPUFI -Strong hands-on (at least 3 years) experience creating and executing JCL in mainframe environment - Knowledge of IBM Utilities and TSO/ISPF is a must (Experience with various mainframe file and data manipulation tools such as Syncsort, Fileaid for VSAM) - SQL experience - Strong analytical skills required -Ability to multi-task -Strong attention to detail -Proven communication and documentation skills is a must -Excellent organizational skills Very Truly, Sam Williams - Recruiting Manager Direct: 646-499-5264 [email protected] www.itbrainiac.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
