*Phone + In-person interview* Client Seeking Lead Quality Assurance Tester to be responsible for QA testing and team leadership in support of one of the company's largest IT projects. Designing and developing test scripts and serving as a Lead for an offshore testing team of approximately 8 resources. *Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:* - Work with QA Analysts and Developers to ensure that all aspects of the system have proper testing coverage and overall system reliability, performance and quality - Lead all aspects of Performance Testing for designated team resources (40% Automation, 60% Manual environment) - Actively participate in all SCRUMs/Sprints - Ensure all Entry/Exit Criteria are met - Participate in Requirements Definition - Participate in Decomposition and building UAT - Provide day-to-day leadership to designated team members - Comply with the system development life cycle (SDLC) and project management methodology (PMLC) by participating in scope assessment, risk and cost analysis - Provide testing management for ongoing projects and future initiatives - Deliver effective and efficient testing solutions by meeting key project milestones and overall project deliverables on time, and adhering to development and quality standards - Analyze the testing needs and develop testing strategy and plans - Review and approve test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures such as database impacts, software scenarios or usability. - Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance or completeness and/or to mitigate risks - Ensure application documentation is complete and maintained/ updated in a timely fashion *Required Skills/Experience:* - *Heavy Automation experience QTP, Selenium, and other open source testing products* - *Solid experience functioning in a testing environment with at least 40% automation* - *Experience with VB Scripting in QTP* - *Experience working under an Agile methodology in a SCRUM environment* - Automation experience with Rational Robot (or other comparable tools) - Solid experience leading offshore testing teams - Solid experience participating in Matrixed teams meetings, including resources from other functional areas such as BAs, PMs, Developers, Architects, Management, and Business Users/Stakeholders - Expert knowledge/experience with Black Box, White Box, & Regression testing - Knowledge of Client/Server Architecture - Experience with database Architecture and SQL queries - Strong documentation skills - Analytical thinker, detailed oriented Preferred Skills/Experience: - Experience conducting Penetration/Security & Failover testing - Knowledge of Web Services testing Education/Experience: - Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant field - *8-10 years experience testing multi-tiered web applications* - Applied experience in facilitating business requirements documentation, creating test scripts, executing test scripts, logging defects, and performing regression analysis - *Experience with hospitality/service industries - preferred* -- Thanks & Regards Mahesh G! bmahesh.ar Y! maheshb_ar * * -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
