The Application Expert provides business and procedural system knowledge in
the area of SAP MM, WM, QM modules and Transportation Management functions.
The AE is responsible for system configuration and for any tasks that arise
within an application project. Experience in Mega DC Start up, closure of
warehouses, transfer of inventory from one W/H to another, Processes
Standardization and Harmonization is a must. The Application Expert
provides software and application solution expertise according to resp.
modules / products and legacy systems (as required). Hands-on experience in
Customized RF based Material Movement transactions, Special Stock
Handling/Hazardous Material, Wave Deliveries/Picking, Stock Transport
Orders, Special SAP Module for Physical Inventory, System Guided Putaway,
RF Queue Management, RF Productivity Monitoring, Cubing Logic. Route and
Freight Determination, Interfaces with FEDEX and UPS, Pooling, RGA,
Kitting, DC Replenishment from Sourcing Plants, Product Modification with
Shop Floor Worklist, User Exits, ABAP Performance/Fine Tuning is essential.
Thorough knowledge of Mega DC Inbound/Outbound Operations, Customizing RF
transactions, interfaces with other modules,

of Physical Inventory, Wave Picking, Transportation Management functions,
RF Queue Management, RF Productivity Monitoring, Cubing
Logic
Extensive practical experience with Mega DC Operations, WM interfaces with
other SAP
modules.
Expert functional business process and SAP technical knowledge in the areas
of WM, MM and QM
modules
Demonstrated experience in using Q1 KPI reporting, Pareto analysis and root
cause problem
solving.
Extensive functional and technical knowledge in the use of customized WM
and Transportation Management functions will be preferred.
Extensive knowledge and experience in the creation and maintenance of
interfaces with Freight Forwarders, RF devices in a Mega DC and Discrete
Manufacturing Environment.
Analysis, Configuration, Customizing and testing of solutions, following
application standards and providing feedback to the Team /
Management
Support Process Management and Solution Management regarding Customer
Requirement definition (e.g. scoping specification)
Updating of the configuration, specifications and other technical
documentations and support end-user documentation for productive companies
regarding Change Requests and bug-fixes
Executing of module testing / internal testing. Creation / updating of
Configuration documentation and technical Roll Out templates.
Methodologies
Expert functional business process and SAP technical knowledge in the areas
of Physical Inventory, Cycle Counting. Internal Replenishments, Kanban,
Strategies for Putaway and Picking, GR with inbound Delivery for PO, Van
Replenishment, Bin Search based on Storage Location and Storage Types,
Pick/Pack for Delivery in a Manufacturing and Distribution Center
Environment
Extensive experience in Distribution Center for a Discrete, Repetitive, MTO
and MTO+E Environment
Technologies
Pareto analysis, root cause problem solving, MM, QM, Transportation
Management functions, RF Devices, Q1 KPI reporting.
At least 7 years progressively responsible senior level experience in SAP
MM/WM roles
