Additional general production support and/or project support as part of the SAP infrastructure team as required. Detailed responsibilities include: installation, technical administration, tuning, upgrade and monitoring of the SAP ECC, BI, Solution Manager and Oracle 10G database. Transport Management System and supporting all development activities. *Requirements: * * • Hands on operation and upgrade experience with R/3 4.7, ECC 6.0, BW 3.5, WebAS 6.20/6.40 and EP 6.0 • Hands on operation and upgrade experience with Oracle 9i/10G/11G and MS SQL Server 2005 database systems* • Hands on operation and upgrade experience with IBM AIX, Solaris 8/10, SuSE Linux, and Windows Server 2003/XP OS • Minimum of 7 years Basis administration experience • Minimum of 3 years Oracle database administration experience • SAP NetWeaver, Oracle 10i and 11g, IBM AIX, Solaris 8 and 10, Linux certification preferred • Proven expertise with MS-Project and MS Office • Hardware landscape designing, failover clustering, VMWare, Disaster Recovery • Qualified candidate must be self-starter capable of working independently, be detail oriented and able to perform in a fast paced environment. In addition, the candidate must demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, perseverance, and the creativity to overcome obstacles to achieve project objectives • Action oriented and able to make informed and timely decisions • Excellent process management capabilities to be able to plan projects appropriately, set priorities, and anticipate and solve problems as they arise • Master Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology/MIS is required • Excellent communication skills: presentation, written • Project management experience.
