*Linux Admin** Kansas City area 3 months* *Summary:* Client needs an experienced Senior Linux Systems Administrator to overlook current setup and make recommendations to current staff. This will include best practices and knowledge transfer including basic documentation. *Skills needed:* Develop and document procedures for startup, execution, shutdown, backup, and recovery. Monitor systems performance. Install and configure software Maintain documentation/notes on software builds and installs. Work with users to determine needs, and requirements and provide a solution Port, modify and write system management Support data storage systems and backup services. Troubleshoot system problems quickly and effectively. Work with others to resolve hardware and software issues.
