Skills List: • TD SQL - required • Have a comfort level with writing native TD SQL (not a tool dependent developer) – required and an absolute must have • Unix shell scripting – ability to write shell scripts that call TD utilities for processing as well as manipulate files - required • Hands-On Experience writing, debugging SQL for TD load utilities - required • Hands-On Experience developing/creating TD DDL – tables, multi-table views, denormalization, index selection, etc. - required • Hands-On Experience writing, debugging TD macros, stored procedures – required • Cannot have a string of one year or shorter assignments. • Tivoli (a plus) • Working Knowledge/Understanding of physical database design (a plus) • Working Knowledge/Understanding of performance optimization methods (a plus) • Hands-On Experience with TD13.10 (a plus) Soft Skills - Mandatory • Needs to be exceptionally comfortable working with someone else’s code base. • Demonstrated self-starter who can ramp up quickly on an assignment • Can operate independently without daily – give them an assignment and they are comfortable jumping in with both feet. • Self-motivated • Willing to go through the steps to become self-educated and productive.
