Hi Partners, DIRECT CLIENT - PHONE HIRE Location: Raleigh, NC Duration: 12+ months Rate: Open Responsibilities: . Work with the project team and vendor to develop and analyze the business and technical requirements for Rome . Use techniques such as use cases, storyboards and JAD sessions to help identify and gain agreement on the requirements . Create and manage the requirements documentation for the project . Lead the planning and execution of testing activities for the Rome project, to include test plans, test cases and user acceptance . Build a requirements traceability matrix to verify successful delivery of all Rome requirements . Ensure requirements across client are represented in the project documentation . Support the client project manager in planning deliverables, scope, schedule and other aspects of the project . Provide knowledge transfer and training to client personnel, per project plans . Work effectively within the GIS Unit's project team model . Help support achievement of the Rome business case Required skills: . Extensive experience facilitating requirements gathering sessions . Demonstrated experience developing, analyzing and documenting business and technical requirements . Ability to document use cases and develop process flow diagrams . Extensive experience planning and overseeing software test activities, to include formal user acceptance . Ability to develop and deliver high-quality project documentation . Ability to translate technical information into business language to ensure understanding of the requirements by both technical and non-technical personnel . Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written forms . Excellent facilitating and consensus-building skills . Strong team orientation . Background in GIS technologies and systems .
