Job Title : .Net Developer Location: Jackson ,MI Duration: 3+Months *Description of Role:* This position is for a developer capable of performing the role of a .NET developer/analyst, as well as handling general support for various existing custom solutions in .NET. The candidate should have 5 years recent experience in .NET web development including MVC and SQL Server. The Development team creates new and modifies existing .NET web applications in support of the Consumers Energy utility module. Primary Development team member responsibilities and activities follow: * Development of Technical specifications from Functional requirements.* New .NET web application development. Maintain/enhance existing .NET web applications. Troubleshoot production problems and performance issues, then find resolutions Perform technical testing Work with other teams (Database Administration, BASIS, Security and XI) as needed to resolve problems and implement changes. Provide technical consulting expertise to functional teams. Mentor/train less experienced .NET developers in .NET programming and .NET related development tools *Need to haves:* .NET (ASP and C#), SQL Server, MVC, Visual Studio, Serena, TFS. Nice to haves: SAP, Java, ABAP, XI/PI, BizTalk, Redwood, Silverlight, SSRS. *Candidates should meet the following knowledge requirements: * Five years of recent, full-time, experience in .NET web application programming, including MVC and SQL Server.
