Job Title: Java Developer
Location: Hoffman Estates, IL
Duration: 6+ months
EAD, GC or US Citizen
They plan to develop a new social networking website similar to Pinterest,
but need to build the team first. After the website is complete, they will
develop a mobile site. Most of the candidates they've reviewed have
enterprise experience, which isn't what they're looking for. They want
someone who hasn't been focused on one area only, but can provide
assistance where ever needed. Ideally someone in small start up companies.
This project has high visibility to Chairman Eddie Lampert and a delivery
date in February.
Required for FED:
- 3-5 years of experience with HTML5, CSS3, MVC, jQuery, & JavaScript
(jQuery & JavaScript are musts)
- experience developing web applications from scratch or for a start-up
- been a part of the design/development team
- experience scaling a website
- Agile experience in 2 week iterations
