*Technology expertise:*
· The candidate must have strong working knowledge on the
installation, configuration and administration of following technologies:
§ Oracle Web logic Server - 10.3 or higher
§ Oracle ADF
§ Oracle SOA/OSB suite
§ Oracle Grid Control
§ Oracle HTTP Server
· Experience in the following technologies will be a plus:
§ Apache
§ Oracle Web Logic 8.1 / 7.x
§ TIBCO suite (BPM, IM, In Concert, ADB)
§ Site scope – Manage monitoring and alerting, Performance management
§ OBIEE / HFM
§ Hyperion
§ Site minder
· An overall understanding of multi-tier web architecture with
strong knowledge of J2EE technology
· Good understanding of clustering and HA configurations for
technologies.
· Have ability to implement technologies to meet availability and
performance SLA.
· Must have excellent Linux / WLST scripting ability to reduce
manual processes and increase operational efficiency.
· Experience in Web Logic migration / upgrade project will be a
plus.
*Administrator skills:*
- The candidate must have at-least 5 years of experience as an
administrator on several application platform technologies.
- Must constantly evaluate system alerts, eliminate redundant / obsolete
alerts and ensure optimal alerting process.
- The candidate must be disciplined and be able to follow defined and
agreed upon process.
- The candidate must review, understand and meet all agreed upon SLAs of
the team.
- The candidate must support a critical 24X7 business operation.
- The candidate must have excellent analytical ability and
trouble-shooting skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and become effective is
administration of the same.
- The candidate must constantly monitor resource utilization of
platforms and recommend tuning and scalability solutions.
- The candidate must have experience with capacity monitoring and
planning.
- The candidate must have the ability to work in a team environment and
mentor other members on the team where needed.
