Job Title: Business Object Administrator
Duration: 6-12 month contract.
Location: Hopkins, MN.
Position Description:
The Business Objects Support Analyst will be responsible for application
support and maintenance of the Cargill consolidated Business Objects
Environment. These responsibilities include maintaining and supporting the
Business Objects environment as well as doing work to improve performance
and supportability.
Principal Accountabilities:
70% - Provide application support and maintenance
25% - Plan and execute projects to consolidate, improve, and increase
maintainability of the solution
5% - Knowledge transfer and mentoring within team
Required:
3+ years of experience in infrastructure, application support and
development or related fields.
3+ years of Business Objects application experience
Strong verbal/written communications. Must be able to interface and
coordinate work efficiently and effectively with business units and
partners.
Experience in design and implementation of Business Objects 3.1 or 4.0
Broad experience in technical infrastructure and application architecture
Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
Strong administrative skills, with effectiveness in developing tasks and
managing resources to achieve target dates.
Participate in a weekly on-call rotation to provide 24x7 application
support.
