Oracle Identity Manager & Directory Server Implementation
The Office of Information Technology (OIT) is beginning to replace their
existing legacy identity management system with Oracle Identity Manager and
Oracle Directory Server Enterprise Edition. The intent of this project is
to provide the following features and benefits:
Provide a standards based solution that provides a framework to easily
build new functionality
Provide a vendor supported solution
Recognize data changes within PS and provision user accounts in “real-time”
Provide a more robust interface for administrators to manage accounts
Provide end-users with a method for performing self-service functionality
Provide a roles-based methodology for defining user account types
Provide a more robust integration platform with other internal and external
systems*
*Current University of Minnesota Identity Management Components
Central umndb database (C-ISAM database) that stores and maintains all
University Identities.
Input data feeds provided by various entities such as PS HR, PS CS, etc.
Output data provided by X.500 system and consumed by other entities such as
Active Directory.
LDAP
Self-service application (dirtools).
White pages and lookup applications.
Provisioning/de-provisioning of users into applications and systems.
Access Request Forms
Various non-feed based accounts such as guest, sponsored, etc.

*Required Qualifications
BA/BS degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or closely related
field and 10+ years of experience
Must have real-world experience implementing and deploying Oracle Identity
Manager 11g at a medium to large institution (100K+ users)
Must have real-world experience implementing and deploying Oracle Directory
Server Enterprise Edition 11g
Expertise and in-depth knowledge of identity and access management
concepts including:
Governance
Single Sign On
Federation
Enterprise Access Provisioning Processes
Attestation
Role Bases Access Control
Self Service
Design and development of automated provisioning processes, request-based
access provisioning, role-based access controls and access approval
workflows.
Advanced knowledge of the Java programming language and J2EE concepts
Advanced knowledge of Weblogic server including installation,
administration and tuning
Advanced knowledge of SOA concepts, specifically Oracle Fusion 11g
Advanced knowledge of Oracle database
Advanced knowledge of implementing human and system workflows using Oracle
PBEL engine
Demonstrated knowledge of integrating with PeopleSoft and Active Directory
Demonstrated knowledge of UNIX/Linux including Virtual Machines
Must have experience with converting legacy identity and access management
systems to Oracle Identity management
Must have experience gathering requirements from a diverse set of users
Experience delivering concurrent, large information management projects at
all phases-from project definition through design and delivery
Ability to build consensus between and lead other technical professionals
without direct authority
