Subject: OBIEE Developer ( Need local, F2F required ) Location : Boston, MA Duration: 6 months Description The client executes fiscal and administrative policies that server to ensure the financial stability, efficiency and effectiveness of state government and assist the Governor in developing and implementing cost-effective public policy initiatives to benefit the residents of the Commonwealth. ANF develops, analyzes, and manages the Commonwealths financial planning and resource allocation activities, including the Governor’s budget submission to the Legislature. This is a fast-paced, high pressure environment. Candidates must be self-motivated, responsible team players who are willing to work nights and weekends during peak work cycles. The technical unit is responsible for the operations and maintenance of the MA Budget Application (Oracle Hyperion Financial Planning Plus), electronic data exchanges using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) with the Commonwealth Information Warehouse, inputting of data from flat file sources and reports development and administration. Responsibilities: Work with ongoing project team to design and develop OBIEE Dashboards & BI Publisher Reports using Oracle OBIEE 11g Work with Commonwealth resources to run and manage OBIEE 11g Make agreed upon enhancements to current / existing report/dashboard solutions Support business operations via OBIEE including: investigating defects or issues, assisting with usage tracking metrics, and updating BI Publisher reports for label changes Support on-going project activities to ensure that additional reports, dashboards, BI Publisher tasks are completed to a high quality standard. This includes helping to Create functional requirements, use cases and technical specifications as an input to application design Develop solutions and prototypes as per detailed functional designs and comply with development methodology and other technical standards set by ANF and ITD Plan and develop test cases, scenarios and scripts to validate functionality of the OBIEE solutions Perform unit and regression testing of code and provide results to project team, which include screen shots and data anomalies. Re-test, if necessary, to ensure quality output. Write and maintain functional, technical, and programming documentation. Research questions using available information and resources including consultation with Oracle through their SR process Provide technical support to internal and external customers on OBIEE application functionality Ensure that all incidents and requests are resolved and handled promptly and in order of priority. Prepare activity and status reports. Facilitate meetings to provide status of incidents and requests. Maintain confidentiality with regard to information being processed, stored or accessed.
