Experience in upgrading Business Objects Enterprise. Experience in working with Business Objects SDK. Good knowledge and experience of: BOXIR2 Administration, report development and InfoView portal. BI 4.0 Administration and report development and BI LaunchPad portal. Migration experience from BOXIR2 directly to BI 4.0. Knowledge of BI 4.0 security and access levels, Knowledge of ASP and Java CE Objects. Knowledge of databases (DB2, Sybase, SQL Server and Oracle) and SQL. Experience supporting Business Objects 4.0 suite from an infrastructure perspective. BI 4.0 experience of migration from BOXIR2 using upgrade management tool. 1+ years experience in Security Model for Business Objects Must have strong experience in WEBI, Infoview, CMC Managing Promotions of reports through the Development, Test, Production process using Life Cycle Manager 2+ years experience in a troubleshooting and problem solving environment Must be able to manage Manage servers,users and groups. Srong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills to meet task deadlines *Roles & Responsibilities* Installation of Business Objects Enterprise XI 2.0 or higher on 6 servers. Migration of the repositories and related objects from the existing Business Objects Enterprise XI R2 servers to (SAP BI 4.0) new upgraded servers. Setup the related software in the new servers. Test the reports and other objects that are migrated to the new servers. Research and fix any issues in migration of the reports and objects into the upgraded server. Setting up of audit and user security. Coordinate with various support groups for any assistance regarding the upgrade. Coordinate with various development teams for testing the reports in the upgraded servers. Coordinate with support groups to create the package for client tools and deploy the client software in the developer machines.
