Ability to think out of the box as well a work in a fast paced environment is important to being successful in this role. Innovation is key as we develop new software products and tools that allow our customers to use PCs in new and exciting ways. * * *Essential Responsibilities:* *CONSUMER PRODUCT EXPERIENCE* IS GREAT TO HAVE *White Box** Engineer*** • Do everything possible to delight our customers • Work hand in hand with the engineering architects and developers to design, develop *White box and unit test frameworks* for Engineering. • Work with cross functional teams as needed to deliver a high quality solution • Utilizing Testing Methodologies analyze testing requirements as the basis for developing testing scenarios for a test level to be executed on a project. • Create *White Box API tests to exercise Client Applications and Services* • Write and execute Automated and Manual test cases and test suites • *Integrate White Box API tests with an Automated Test Framework* • Write Test Plans, file defects and regress functionality • Design testing scenarios and test cases that will demonstrate conformance to all functional and non-functional requirements, relative to the test level, as defined in business or technical specifications. • Executes tasks related to the production of the Test Plan, test cases, test scripts, and test data. • Embrace the agile development model adopted by the group • Disciplined approach to *testing and quality assurance* • *C/C++, C#, JavaScript and HTML5* • Comfortable working in an *Agile team setting* • BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field • Ability to independently find and solve problems *Responsibilities:* • Working knowledge of *nUnit* • 4 years on *client application, performance instrumentation, test automation* • Test management tool experience – *Quality Center, ALM, JIRA * etc. • Work experience on *desktop and notebook QA testing*preferred. • Strong debug and trouble shooting skills • Basic idea about client technologies is desired. • Work Experience with following OS: *Win7, Win8* and popular PC applications • Good verbal and written communication skills. • Fast learner and flexible, be able to adapt to new areas and technologies with less monitoring. *Not required but considered as a plus: * • Knowledge of *Agile approaches* such as XP • Experience with *Agile techniques* such as *ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Pairing* ==================================================== Please feel free to contact me for any questions.
