• 1 year of related experience with database programming and analysis required. 3-5 years as a SQL Server Database Administrator preferred. • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2000, 2005, 2008, and 2012, in the following deployments - stand-alone, cluster, and database mirroring. • Understanding of, and experience with, server-client computing and relational database environments • Experience with data management and data processing flowcharting technique • Knowledge of reporting and query tools and practices • Experience with large-scale high availability environments (50+ servers) housing multiple large to very large databases (VLDBs). • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality. • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language • Self motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. • Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment. • Ability to prioritize and organize work. • Ability to adapt to a flexible on-call schedule.
