Required:*
7+ years of SQL Server 2005,2008,2013 experience
Data Conversion or Data Migration lifecycle management for large complex
projects in the financial services industry
or
Data Interface ETL lifecycle management for large complex projects in the
financial services industry

*Role and Responsibilities*
The Senior ETL developer will manage the migration of data from the legacy
solution database into the new solution database and/or manage the
development of a range of interfaces to be built around the new application
to various other strategic component of the new solution (eg a predictive
dialer, a document imaging system, a host account servicing platform) .
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Prepare full lifecycle Data conversion plan
Analyzing the existing DB structure, file system, or any other source of
data
Design, Develop, Test and Deploy ETL mappings using Pervasive or similar
ETL tool.
Perform gap analysis of disparate systems, and develop conforming
dimensions, members, hierarchies, business calculations, elements,
attributes based on business requirements.
Managing the creation of data conversion routines (from legacy to target)
Managing relationships with various client stakeholders involved in the
data migration
Managing the data conversion activities and process
Prepare Data conversion scripts
Liaising with the other application teams
Develop procedures in SQL Server. Have extensive knowledge of SQL Server
database development concepts such as common table expressions, nested sub
queries, indexed views, table partitioning, windowed functions, and
aggregate functions.
Troubleshoot issues in reports related to data or formatting.
Use ad-hoc queries to investigate data issues in relational source systems
Complete quality projects on time and on budget.
Analyze current and potential systems for conversions and product
integration scenarios.
Write queries using SQL to produce reports for users.

Bachelor or Master degree in computer Science or relevant
Certification in SQL Server
