The aforementioned web applications are critical to the functions of ITS staff. The Consultant(s) shall employ Visual Basic 6.0 and Active Server Pages to maintain existing applications, as well as Visual Studio and VB.net to create new applications and support existing ado.net and asp.netapplications. The Consultant(s) shall create stored procedures to insert, change and delete records from a SQL Server database. The Consultant(s) shall develop and deploy user interfaces to the Development, Quality Assurance and Production systems. The Consultant(s) shall be responsible for performing quality assurance testing on the Development and Quality Assurance tiers. The Consultant(s) shall be responsible for database development and administration. The Consultant(s) shall also be responsible for maintaining and assigning user permissions to the systems for which he/she is responsible, as well as troubleshooting and resolving application problems. In addition Consultant(s) shall: 1.Facilitate and ensure the successful transfer of knowledge from the Consultant(s) to ITS staff designated by the Director or his/her designee; 2.Report to ITS Management who will be responsible for maintaining control over the Consultant’s work duties, schedule, and performance; 3.Submit required reports, as defined by ITS.
