Description: Responsible for network engineering and design, technology roadmap, configuration, troubleshooting various aspects of network hardware, software and communications links. Candidate should have 10+ years in IT and networking. Required skills include strong understanding and hands on experience with Network routing protocols, IPv4/6, EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP, Cisco routing and switching, wireless technologies, WAN, LAN and VLANnetwork design, network encryption methods. Good written and verbal communication skills are required. Certifications in Networking, Cisco, Microsoft and other products are a plus. Requirements: -Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) -Symantec Certified Security Engineer (SCSE) -Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) -Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional (MCITP) -Experience with installing and configuring Windows OS, and SQL server clusters -Experience designing solutions that incorporate 802.1x wireless networks, VPN and DMVPN, and network encryption technologies -Extensive knowledge and experience configuring and managing Cisco ASAequipment -Experience performing field site surveys for implementation of wireless network infrastructures to include wireless spectrum analysis -Experience deploying wireless solutions for radiation portals, mobile radiation portals, wireless mesh networking, and wireless backhaul -Strong knowledge of WiFi, WiMAX, LTE, Microwave, Satellite, and cellular data services -Working knowledge of CBP’s Systems Life Cycle (SLC). -Working knowledge of CBP certification and accreditation (C&A) process.
