Job Title: Network Security Specialist Location: Miami, Fl Duration: 3 Months Minimum skills required: Contractor should possess at a minimum an advanced understanding of networking and network security with experience to be able to accomplish the following: Design, build, modify, test and implement firewall infrastructure and rules which comply with existing information security policies and information security best practices Work as part of a project team. Communicate progress, technical issues, recommendations and resolutions pertaining to the work being assigned. Produce design documents including: Network design documentation Technical documentation, describing logical and physical network design and topology. Maintenance documentation, including upgrade/ migration plans, tuning and troubleshooting. Data flow diagrams Skill Set: In depth understanding of physical and logical Firewall design/ deployment. Extensive experience with current release Firewall hardware and software for both Juniper and Checkpoint firewall management and turning. Knowledge of Checkpoint Firewall Software Blade infrastructure including DLP, Anti-bot, IDS/IPS, Application Control, Content filtering, VPN, Secure tunnels, certificate management and encryption. Ability to trouble shoot enterprise network routing issues using network protocols such as OSPF, BGP, VLANS and static routes, route filtering, route distribution, etc. Knowledge of Quality of Service, IPSec Tunnels, Multicast and load balancing techniques. Extensive experience with Network Management Tools, Network/Packet analyzers Knowledge of VPN interoperability Experience in trouble shooting multi-tier applications Extensive network experience with a thorough understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, and network troubleshooting.
