Fulltime * *Job Description:* Under the supervision of a senior manager, this person will work as part of a team with the objective of creating a suite of ERP products targeted towards mid-sized and large corporations. This person will initially help design and architect the data platform responsible for delivering these products as cloud-based, multi-tiered, operating system & device independent applications. This person will also subsequently work on the development of Cassandra management tools, configuration, deployment and management of data platform. *Required Skills:* Minimum Degree Required: Bachelors in Science or Engineering Field of study: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field Years of experience required beyond the degree earned: Minimum of 5 years Required skill set: The person will need all of the following skill-sets as part of their past work experience - Experience with large data repositories Highly motivated, quick learner, able to work independently or on a team and drive solutions with minimal supervision Flexible and capable of juggling multiple priorities and willing to do what it takes to meet critical deadlines. Expert level understanding of relational database concepts and database architecture and design Expert level understanding of NOSQL databases (Cassandra, HBase) Experience with Hadoop is a plus Experience in deploying and scaling NOSQL databases within and across data-center and geographies.
