Java/J2ee Web Developer Location: Cypress, CA Duration: 6+ Months (go for Long Term) *Primary Responsibilities:* Ø Work with software development professionals building portal applications in the J2EE/Portal environment Ø Building and managing relationships with business team to understand their goals Ø Proposing technology solutions to enable the business to meet/exceed those goals Ø Engaging in application architecture and design decisions Ø Delivering a robust self-service environment for the end user community Ø Implementing/maintaining a repeatable iterative software development methodology Ø Managing SDLC processes and associated artifacts Ø Ensuring ongoing compliance with SDLC processes Ø Communicating with stakeholders and management team on a regular basis in a concise manner Troubleshoot production support issues post release deployment and come up with solutions. Ability to solve complex production issues *Requirements:* - 5+ years of Java/J2EE application development experience, including application architecture and design - Experience delivering web-based technology solutions to meet business needs - 3+ years of experience with Spring and Apache - Experience with Maven or a similar build tool - Proven success using and driving a repeatable, iterative software development methodology - Track record of completing software development projects on-time and on-budget - Demonstrated ability to communicate with and influence business leadership and technologists *Assets:* - Experience with WSDL, SOAP, Webservices, XML Schemas, JDBC - Experience with WebSphere, Hibernate, JQuery, JMS, JSP, Maven, CQ5, HTML - Java 4 and/or 5+ certified - Experience working on virtual teams - Knowledge of the healthcare industry Positions in this function are predominantly involved in designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting Internet/Intranet applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements. *Send me Resumes to [email protected] * -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
