The position requires extensive experience in the areas of routing, switching, wireless, load balancing and performance monitoring and management tools. This position will be responsible for configuring, installing and troubleshooting hardware with the ability to resolve complex network issues in a timely manner. Great customer relation skills are required as this position will interact directly with the customers to resolve network related problems. Examples of Duties: • Install and maintain Cisco network switches, routers and wireless components • Perform backups and restores of all of the network configurations • Apply patches and maintain prudent cyber security • Troubleshoot system and network problems • Performance network monitoring using Solarwinds, Netscout, Cisco Prime and other network management and monitoring tools • Partner with IS staff to evaluate new technologies • Work with staff, contractors and vendors to resolve complex system and network integration issues • Participate in a change management process to plan and manage the installation of new systems, upgrades to existing systems and enhancements to the IT infrastructure • Perform timely documentation for all infrastructure supported systems, networks and applications • Be a part of an on call rotation for after-hours support Minimum Qualifications: • 10 years in designing, building and maintaining complex multi-location multi-layer networks in an enterprise environment consisting of over 1000 employees using OSPF and BGP routing protocols • 5 years’ experience in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Cisco wireless system • experience in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Solarwinds Network Performance Monitor • experience using Netscout performance management tools • experience in the installation, configuration, and maintenance Cisco Nexus family of switches and UCS server networking • experience in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of F5 load balancers • experience in the configuration and maintenance of Cisco Secure ACS TACACS servers Thanks, *Peter Smith* 201-546-3127 Phone [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
