JOB TITLE: BUSINESS / DATA ANALYST LOCATION: AC MOSSVILLE, IL (PEORIA AREA) DURATION: 12+ MONTHS SUMMARY: · Responsible for assisting in the creation and support of IT Solutions that enable Customer success. · Individual responsibilities are keyed on process management relating to supplier data stewardship. MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Working directly on application/technical problem identification and resolution, including off-shift and weekend support functions. · Participating in integrated testing and user acceptance of application or infrastructure components. · Working with vendors on the integration of purchased application(s) and/or infrastructure. Designing and implementing processes, or process improvements, to aid in development and support. · Ability to work both independently and with a cooperative team on complex projects that may span multiple infrastructure components or applications. KEY TECHNICAL SKILLS: · SQL scripting, ORACLE/DB2 (data relationship), JAVA and Javascript. ADDITIONAL REQUIRED DETAILS: · The hiring manager has reviewed the initial candidate list and has requested to see more resumes. She is looking for more of a business analyst role with an IT background Candidates · She has reviewed so far have been too technical based. · The role is IT based, but candidates should have the business analyst function as well. · They should be able to analyze data but also understand the technical tools such as SQL, DB2, Oracle, Java, and data transport and know more than just the coding behind them. · Analytical skills could include business objects, cognos, and the functionality behind those tools. · The hiring manager WOULD PREFER TO SEE LOCAL CANDIDATES as she is looking for this to be a long term assignment. · Previous work experience will also be considered and the hiring manager would like to see steady backgrounds with little breaks in employment history. · Candidates that have past Customer experience would be ideal.
