Please send me your resume and contact detail Position: *WCS Developer* Location: *WA, Seattle* Duration: *Long Term* Interview: *Phone and Skype* *.* *Job Description:* Overall 8-10 Years of experience with Web-based technology such as Java/J2EE, WCS - 5 to 6 years of professional experience with WCS technologies and on WCS Version - WCS 7.x and\or others less than that - 3 to 5 years of expertise in defining scalable, clustered, fault tolerant and performance architecture using ATG/WCS and Java J2ee clustering, indexing and processing servers - 3 to 5 years of minimum project delivery as a Solution Architect. - Good experience with Java frameworks for the presentation/service/data access layers. - Ability to translate HLD into LLD, design schemas using the features of WCS - Experience on search, product details, personalization, merchandizing features such as catalog, pricing, promotions and order etc. - Experience with database DB2/Oracle, Oracle will be added advantage. - Diagnose and solve technical problems related to commerce implementation - Interact with clients to create end-to-end specifications for ecommerce solutions - Provide inputs and direction to team for design and implementation - Experience on customizing OOB code and WCS console such as Accelerator, Admin Console, Org Admin Console. - Hands-on with architecture, design and development, and will work very closely with WCS application quality and support the design/build process. - Deep understanding of various caching mechanisms available in WCS and ability to leverage their suitability in different scenarios - Experience on Media, Publishing, Information Management, Retail Domain will be added advantage - Preferably having experience with WESB \ WID \ Content Mgmt System \ Order Mgmt \ PIM \ MDM. - Experience with performance tuning and performance management for high-volume and high-traffic delivery. * * *KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * - This role is expected to be hands-on with architecture, design and development, and will work very closely with WCS Commerce application quality and support the design/build process. - Individuals in this role are also expected to have deep knowledge of the product architecture, its internal capabilities, extension points, and support complex activities including scalable architecture definition, performance tuning, application integration design, migration strategies, etc. - Must have worked in onsite-offshore model.
