*Duration : 3+ Months* *Interview : Phone Hire* *Requirements :* * * *BI Lead should have the following qualifications:* • Translates strategies into deliverables • Prioritizes and balances competing priorities • Results-oriented individual who thrives on working in a fast-paced environment • Must be able to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders • Has in-depth knowledge of the tools and technologies used in BI solutions • Establish best practices and standards for data warehouse architecture and design • Ability to translate functional requirements into technical design specifications • Ability to develop technical design documents • Translate business requirements into reporting solutions • Comprehensive understanding of relational and dimensional database design • Strong Business Analysis and problem solving skills • Coach and mentor other team members to develop their BI skills • Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture Structures (Zachman/TOGAF) or equivalent *Key Responsibilities (List the top five to seven essential responsibilities in priority order):* % 1. Manages technical project resources within the project scope, time-line and budget 40% 2. Is responsible for ensuring delivery on commitments and ensuring that the delivered solution fulfils the needs of the business 15% 3. Performs high-level architectural planning, proof-of-concept and software design 15% 4. Functions as the Design Authority in technical design reviews. Approves code reviews and technical deliverables 10% 5. Coding and application development 10% 6. Contributes to development project estimates, scheduling and development reviews 5% 7. Maintains compliance with change control, Agile and development standards 5% 100% *Education/Training –* • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Information Management *Business Experience –* • 8+ years experience in IT projects *Specialized Knowledge/Skills –* • Experience with Healthcare or Clinical Data strongly preferred • Skilled in SQL Skills and proficient in Oracle 11g, SQL Server or any relational database management system. • Experience with BI technologies such as SAP Business Objects xi 2.0 or higher, Cognos, Oracle OBIEE: Administrator/Developer is required- Minimum 5 years deep experience with the technology stack • Should have prior experience working with multi year BI implementation roadmap • Technical expertise regarding data models and database design development.
