*Position: UAT Testers * *Location: Lewisville, TX* *Duration: 6-12 months* *Interview: 2 Phone intervfiews* Must have mortgage and/or loan servicing exp. *Job description:* * * The User Acceptance Sr. Analyst is responsible for testing all new code pushed to the applications. The testing will include UAT, regression, and end-to-end. The analyst will be responsible for developing and executing test plans and scripts The scripting will be loaded and managed in Mercury Quality Center for tracking of defects. This is an exempt level position and the average work schedule is 50 hours a week. In addition, unusual work hours required based on the project release schedule. *Responsibilities: * · Works in conjunction with the Business Analysis and Development teams to ensure that applications meet requirements and are of high quality. · Reviews Functional Specifications, Impact Matrices and Test Cases to understand the functional and technical requirements in order to test the application and verify requirements are successfully met. · Conducts test strategy, scenario reviews and test plan walkthroughs. Works with Development teams to insure test coverage for all functionality. · Design test procedures, maintenance procedures and configurations. Creates test strategies for application release. Executes test scripts and documents defects for test scripts where the actual results do not successfully meet expected results. · Has significant interaction with internal customers. · Creating test data /files for batch environment. · interpret Impact Matrices and high level design deliverables to create detailed test cases. · Ability to map test cases to business requirements. *Qualifications :* · Minimum three years of UAT, Regression, End to End testing work experience. · Experience writing detailed test plans and test cases based on functional/processing specifications. · Experience in using Mercury Quality Center and MS office. · Ability to VB Script and Excel Macro Knowledge Preferred. · Knowledge of mainframe applications, Info-One, MSP, Modification Portal, Agent-Desktop, Optimizer, Pega or other Solomon application. · A strong technical background, including business and system analysis. · Strong understanding of all QA phases. · Working knowledge and experience with Software Development Life Cycle. · Must demonstrate strong time management skills, ability to multi-task & handle multiple test assignments & prioritize one's own work. · Attention to detail and commitment to follow-through on issues. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong time management skills. · Must have excellent verbal and written skills being able to communicate effectively on both a technical and business level. Traceability and change management knowledge required.
