Write code for system designs that span platforms. Write code for enhancing existing programs or developing new programs. Write detailed technical specifications for subsystems and identify integration points. Estimate project timelines and resources required to complete programming projects. Perform unit testing and debugging and set test conditions based on code specifications. Supports application throughout the Product Development life cycle. Analyze and develop technical strategies using technologies like MQ Series, DB2 SQLs, Stored Procedures, and XML Parsing techniques to modularize design into granular functionality levels to achieve optimum efficiency and ease in maintenance. Write detail technical design documents for new development and enhancements to existing functionality, document process flows. Write new code, integrate code with existing applications; perform code-reviews, prepare and execute test plans and test cases. Perform unit testing and debugging, integration testing, system testing, and implementing the code into production. Required Experience/Skills Extensive experience in COBOL, DB2, CICS, IMS DB/DC, SAS, JCL, VSAM, Endevor, TSO/ISPF, SQL, z/OS, IBM data studio, IBM PD tools (FM, DT, FA, APA), RDz, MQ Series, XML, Control-m, Visio. Working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process and Requisite Pro. Experience in Healthcare and UCM (Rational Clear Case) are plus.
