* * *Position: Data Modeler* *Location: Somers, NY* *Duration: 4 Months* * * · Role supports data modeling needs for myBuy/MDM Vendor project development, under the guidance of the MDM & Data Design team leads. · Primary Responsibilities include: · Perform data modeling for new relational database; collaborate with team lead/senior designer to create data solutions for business and systems requirements. · Adhere to, and enforce, data standards and best practices. · Attend requirements gathering meetings with team lead, senior designer, application teams, Database Administrators (DBAs), and/or business partners to understand business needs. · Create Functional & Technical Documentation for all database structures. · Support application teams with data identification and analysis. · Convert logical data model to physical model and database in development environment; transition to DBAs for test and production environments. · Create and maintain Metadata, including table/column definitions. · Prepare, maintain and publish documentation, including business transformation logic (Source-to-Target Mappings), data models and data dictionary reports. · Minimum of 4 years dedicated Data Modelling experience, · required Experience working with SQL and UNIX Experience with ER/Studio or ERwin, required Strong analytical and communications skills Team player; · ability to work well with changing priorities; demonstrated flexibility * * *Thanks & Regards,* * * *Matt Blair / Global Resource Management, Inc.
