Role : SQL DBA Location : Philadelphia, PA Duration 9-12 months *!! In-person Interview Required !! * Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities 7+ Years focused experienced as a SQL Server DBA Preferred candidate will have both Development and Operational DBA experience. Data Warehousing and Healthcare experience would be a plus. Operational DBA duties: maintenance and support of databases; daily interaction with developers; daily routine performance and capacity monitoring; assist development and production teams in troubleshooting poor SQL performance and error conditions; administration of database backups; software product installations. Development DBA duties: strong SQL skills: candidate will contribute in the tuning of SQL code constructed by development team(s). Teradata DBA: candidate will be given work assignments as part of Teradata DBA team. Teradata experience is not required. Must haves: current SQL Server 2008 DBA experience; crystal clear communication skills; be a team player; strong analytical and organization skills; the ability to work on multiple assignments at one time; the ability to work under tight project deadlines.
