*Please send the resumes at [email protected]* Job Title: Java Developer Location: Willis Tower, Chicago, IL Duration: 2 Years *Interview Process: 1 Face to Face interview, then an offer Start: ASAP- this month or 10/1* Description · Front end, Web Developer with Object oriented JavaScript experience, building client-side browser html/Web applications · Plays a crucial role in creating and maintaining the strategic partnership between business needs and technology delivery within the Airport Above the Wing team. · Plan, design, develop & launch efficient systems & solutions in support of Next Generation Agent Application. · Apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve issues, opportunities or problems in order to maximize the benefit of IT and Business investments. · Self-sufficient, requires minimal direct supervision, and mentors/coaches others junior members on the team and train them on software standards. · Assist in evaluating alternatives relating to efficient solutions and performance as well as maintainability and supportability of the applications. · Assist in delivering and completion of tasks as committed within budget and time. · Develops software for the applications with the Airport Above the Wing team from design to implementation phases of the project life cycle · Support and troubleshoot software systems as required, optimizing performance, resolving problems, and providing follow-up on all issues and solutions · Lead a group of developers · Complete comprehensive unit testing on all developed/enhanced software · Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of development methodologies, software design and design patterns, integration standards as well as its applicability at coding and testing cycles · Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of software engineering best practices such as: versioning and versioning control, software packaging and software release management Skill Set Details · Front End, Web Application Developer - building client-side browser html applications in JavaScript. · Well versed and Highly skilled in DOM Script Prototyping and JavaScript Libraries (JQuery, Prototype) required; Current experience necessary. · Experienced in Object oriented JavaScript (JSON) and MVVM (Knockout) required · Highly skilled in HTML and its APIs CSS3. · Good knowledge of HTTP and Client-Server interaction + Browser behavior and memory management on client side technologies especially in the eCommerce/Internet space. · Experience in MVC/ MVC 4Razor Framework; · C# application development in Visual Studio and TFS desired, but not necessarily mandatory · Great problem solving, able to adapt quickly. Don't necessarily need to manage offshore team-, need to be able to lead internal team however—doesn’t need lead experience, but would be a plus. · Clear understanding of JavaScript Object Oriented- programming in JavaScript- and another framework knowledge would be a plus- front end scripting · Very technically adept, socially adept, good team player. · Splits up priorities and tasks based on complexity of the problem, Lead in meetings, overall takes charge of how the project is going.
