I have an immediate contract opening for a *Netbackup Administrator.* This
will be a 12-month contract project in Texas
Administration of NetBackup Enterprise Server 6.0 and 6.5 MP 5 servers in 2
sites.
Daily verification of over 900 backup policies
Creating, managing, and removal of backup policies
Troubleshooting of failed backup attempts to successfully backup all servers
required to be backed up.
Perform file restores when requested
7 day On-Call rotation for nightly backup runs, answer calls for backup
failures that may fail overnight, troubleshoot and if correctable action can
be taken rerun the backup job.
Work with Windows and Midrange system engineering teams for servers not
successfully being backed up.
Daily removal and reload of tapes for Offsite storage of successful backup
jobs.
Hardware and Software maintenance of Spectra Logic T950
Work with EMC Virtual Tape Libraries 4100 and 4206
