*Long term* Description Reviewing queries, IQ query plans and then tune stored procedures,canned- as well as ad-hoc queries. Review Index Advisor output and then recommend and set up "create Index statements" to match new ad-hoc and prepared queries and stored procedures. Document existing IQ environment and recommend changes to be made for a new IQ Multiplexed environment along with logical and physical design recommendations for same. Have experience building and supporting a Multiplexed environment. Troubleshooting IQ performance problems on an IBM P-series/AIX 5.3.0/64bit platform and making recommendations for both Unix level tuning changes as well as IQ changes Setup, install IQ and configure database & O/S for high throughput. Experience in integrating with Business Objects a plus. IQ loader performance tuning and troubleshooting skills. Extensive experience in IQ 12.7 running on AIX . Also, have experience with Sybase IQ 15.
