Our client, a major Financial Services firm with offices in Jersey City is seeking candidates to fill the following consulting position: QA Analyst Location :Jersey City Duration : 3+ Months This effort entails testing of Block trading, Position Modeling, and Rebalancing features which support equities, mutual funds, options, fixed income, alternative investments, and annuities. This is a critical project that will entail a significant testing effort. It will require close collaboration with business, development, and vendor teams as well as offshore counterparts. Qualified candidate should have a minimum of 5 years experience within a financial services firm, with an emphasis on trading applications. Candidate can be a Business Analyst or Quality Assurance Analyst and should have extensive trading experience. Experience with block trading is preferred. Candidates having held a Series 7 license in the past are a plus. The B/A or QA has the primary responsibility to gather, analyze, document, and validate the needs of the business stakeholders. The Business Analyst/QA Analyst serves as the principal conduit for managing system requirements between the business and the software development team, testing, and reporting throughout the duration of a project.
