Location : Columbus, OH Duration :6 Months Skills: *Primary duty includes one or more of the following: Planning, Programming, Modeling. Performs in one of the following sub-roles: (1) Data Base Administrator: designs and configures complex databases with replication and multi-nodes, develops comprehensive DB implementation/upgrade plans, translates logical to physical design, creates DB objects, builds backup/recovery/load scripts, and can support development thru production. Proficiency in database and/or SQL analysis and tuning; (2) Data Administrator: creates, analyzes, translates, and maintains complex logical and/or physical data models, metadata respositories, and data catalogues. Maintains security event logs. Ensures all productions changes are made in accordance with lifecycle methodology and risk guidelines. This position should typically be used for an advanced or lead level resource. * * * * * *This position is for an individual to direct the transformation of logical data models provided by legacy z/OS applications into physical data models suitable for use on an object-oriented platform and to provide knowledge transfer to existing staff. Platform includes Java, Java OO, Hibernate ORM, Ab Initio, Websphere and DB2 for z/OS.
