*DESCRIPTION:*
Informatica 8.6 is required with skills in Data Integration, SQL, Unix
Scripting, and data warehousing.   Designs, constructs, tests, and
implements data extraction, transformation and load programs, processes and
cycles from source systems into Client systems, using standard Extract,
Transformation and Load (ETL) tools, for large, complex projects.  Creates
and reviews data exception reporting, test plans and test data for ETL
processes. Implements and supports ETL processes.

*REQUIRED SKILLS:*

   - Analysis and Design of data integration solutions.
   - Estimates data integration work effort and durations.
   - Define source and Client definitions in Informatica
   - Data Profiling and Data Quality
   - Source to Client mapping design document
   - Connectivity / Security to access source data
   - Build Transformations (Sort/Aggregate, Lookups, Filter and Routers)
   - Create/Test Data Mappings and Workflows
   - Scheduling
   - Data validation and performance tracking
   - Error Handling, Restart and Recovery processes
   - Ability to troubleshoot problems associated with Informatica
   - Create custom SQL and Unix scripts
   - Create technical support documentation
   - Ability to document current environment
   - Implementation

 *REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: *

   - Bachelor's degree with 8 – 10 years related work experience or
   significant equivalent work experience
   - 8 years medium to large-scale data management environment experience
   - Strong technical knowledge with an emphasis on data
   - Demonstrated understanding of data architecture concepts and
   strategies, including types of data and the relationships between them;
   optimal data placement strategies; data usage guidelines; data technical
   components and the relationships between them
   - Strong understanding of networking and security requirements and
   issues as they relate to data movement (e.g. - database/data warehouse
   access, data replication, data movement, data distribution)
   - Strong understanding of databases and data access methodologies
   - Strong understanding of data messaging techniques and processes
   - Demonstrated ability to multi-task work assignments, on two or more
   projects
   - Strong analytical and problem solving skills
   - Strong teamwork skills within I.S. and client community
   - Strong verbal and written communication skills
   - Highly Self-Driven and Self-Motivated
